| The BodyBolster Delivers Better Results |
| Rolled up towels are inert and ineffective, foam rollers inhibit muscle contraction, the swiss ball is too unstable…….the BodyBolster enhances performance when used in a variety of clinical applications, delivering better results. |
Clinical Applications
- Targeted mobilization (spinal facets, shoulder joint, pelvis, knee, ankle)
- Closed and open kinetic chain activities
- Lengthening stretches, while offering greater control
- Isometric strength building
- Stabilization
- Myofascial release
- Supporting the body
Recently introduced to the BodyBolster, I was pleasantly surprised at its potential for clinical applications as well as spinal support from an ergonomic standpoint….a creative therapist will find many uses for this unique and comfortable treatment adjunct. The 114 exercises in this manual are divided into specific body parts and then under each body part into progressive phases of exercise: Range of Motion, Early Strength Development, Strength Building and Functional Rehabilitation. The exercises are designed to give you examples of what you can achieve when using the BodyBolster. |
Patients progress faster from acute phase to functional rehabilitation phase Apart from the BodyBolster’s versatility as a clinical and home exercises device, the improved results it delivers are attributable to its two unique features.
Self Inflating - This means it can be modified as needed for body type, comfort and structural limitations. As the patient progresses with a fuller BodyBolster, the difficulty increases providing a greater challenge to stability (multi-directional ROM) and strengthening. |
Malleable - The patient is comfortable and relaxed, and has greater control of movement. This allowing natural motion without the jerkiness that can truncate movement when using a foam roller. |
